Sigh. It’s bittersweet to fall in love with such an expensive product. This has CHANGED THE GAME. My thin and fine hair looks legitimately WET with grease by day 2 after washing it, and now after using this the night of a morning/afternoon wash or the next morning, my hair looks fresh for days, even if I don’t reapply it. I can’t believe it. I can sense the grease building up in the weight of my hair or how it gathers in sort of bulky stringiness, but it doesn’t look disgusting like it used to with other dry shampoos or no product.

I loved my first can of this and reordered a second to have at the ready for when the first one ran out. When I opened the second one I only got one spray out before it stopped working. I tried running it under hot water and using the nozzle from the old can but nothing worked. I was very upset since this is fairly expensive and by this point the return window had closed (not to mention I didn’t have any dry shampoo to use!) It occurred to me try and contact Living Proof’s customer service and they sent me replacemt can. Knowing that Living Proof will stand behind their products gives me confidence to keep reording even if I might get another dud someday.

Be sure to read the instructions with this, and this product is great. It is easy to use an minimal residue if you follow the directions. The downside is that it is highly scented and in a small space when you put it on it can be overwhelming. It keeps my hair oil free all day with volume and a fresh scent.

I absolutely LOVE this dry shampoo for my normal hair and for my human hair wigs. However, even though it smells extremely nice and fresh, the level of smell can be a little over powering and hit you in the face pretty strong. It’s mainly due to the fact that A LOT sprays out at once just by barely pressing down the spray nozzle, and with this (not just because of the price) a little goes a long way. My boyfriend can’t stand it. He thinks it smells horrible and doesn’t like when I use it. After a couple minutes the strong smell calms down and it’s much better, though. As far as taking away oils, I think it works extremely well for both my real hair and my human hair wigs in-between washes. Although this is an extremely pricey bottle for the size you get, it’s definitely worth every penny! Plus, like I was lucky enough to come across this last time, it does tend to go on sale quite often. I highly recommend at least trying this once!!

I have fine straight Asian hair with an oily skewing scalp so I’ve been fighting greasy hair for years. I’ve tried alot of highly rated dry shampoos and none ever worked well. Gave this expensive dry shampoo a try because of decent prime deal and it’s definitely worth the money.Leaves no white cast on my dark hair and it feels pretty normal. I absolutely HATE the smell of this – it’s overwhelmingly like old lady perfume. It makes me really self conscious that everyone can smell it but worth it I guess for looking good.

Postpartum hair is greasy hair. It’s unavoidable, it’s hormones resetting themselves, and too-painful-to-get-in-the-shower days. This dry shampoo does not mess around. It soaks up grease extra fast – so fast, in fact, that you only want to use a little at a time, so that you don’t accidentally dry your hair out. Only downside I could possibly nitpick is that the scent won’t be for everyone, but definitely worth a try.

This has been my go to dry shampoo for a couple years now. I have black hair and dry shampoos usually show in my hair. This does come out white when you spray it close to your scalp. After rubbing it in and brushing my hair there is no white residue left over. I was my hair twice a week and this helps keep my hair looking clean and volumized in between washes. I spray a little in my hair before going to the gym and it keeps my scalp clean and dry. It smells great and leaves my hair feeling clean!

I have thin hair and an oily scalp, so I’ve never been one who could go than more than a day and a half without showering. All other dry shampoos I’ve ever tried would help a bit on day two for a couple hours at best, but this one is like magic. I don’t understand what makes it different, but my hair actually looks and feels pretty clean the entire next day, so if you have a more “normal” hair/scalp situation, I can’t imagine this not getting you two extra days. (I’ve even applied it to “I’ve been in bed for a week with illness and haven’t showered” hair and it perked it up to make it doable for a Zoom call…magic I tell ya.)That said, this stuff is NOT discreet. There is a very heavy fog left behind after application, which does worry me about what I’m inhaling. I may break out my Covid masks to wear during application as a precaution. Also, while the fragrance isn’t too bad, it is noticeable and leans feminine, so it may not appeal to all. I’m a fan of unscented products in general, as I have a lot of skin allergies, but I will say this one hasn’t upset my skin/scalp yet, and I don’t forsee any issues there. Eliminating the scent on this would make this product nearly as perfect as it’s name implies.

Yes this product is on the pricier side. but after years of trying different drugstore dry shampoo brands like Batiste and Not Your Mother’s, this one outperforms them by far. This leaves absolutely no white powder behind (I have black hair) and absorbs oil incredibly well. Moreover, it keeps your hair looking healthy for longer as well. With other dry shampoos, my hair would start to look greasy again halfway through the way, but this one lasts a full workday. I saw some reviews that complained the scent is a little antiquated. It definitely smells like a grandma perfume (very powdery and sweet), but I personally don’t mind the smell.
