Only issue I had is as an Amazon Fire TV, it collects a LOT of data on you. Saves voice clips from every search to name one disturbing breach of privacy. Definitely check your settings. On this app too.

I bought the 43” Amazon fire Insignia tv earlier in 2024, and then I bought another one for my mom to replace her old tiny Roku tv, in October.The size of the 43” was exactly what I was looking for and is really large enough, it has 4K picture which is beautiful !Something I’ve noticed is that the sound is very accurate; some TVs are so loud that I have to keep the volume super low or vice versa but I find that this TV is accurate in volume and I don’t have to keep reaching for the remote to turn it up or down. It has a variety of streaming apps that you can download to the tv if you so choose.The remote is sleek and easy to understand, as it doesn’t have a bunch of useless buttons.It also hooks up to an HDMI cord for dvd players, etc. which is good to know if you’re a fellow dvd collector like me; and you can pause/play from this remote on your dvds which I like very much.I like that I can adjust the brightness to my preference, and also the sound settings all while I’m watching a movie or show and it doesn’t take up too much of the screen.It’s also decently priced, which was amazing!All in all, I recommend this tv.

This 55″ TV is amazing !! The Price under $300 is unmatched anywhere. Watching sports is better than a live seat that 1 ticket costs more than this television ! I suggest anyone looming for a deal, this is the best deal I ever got on a TV or any devices I own ! Get one !!

The TV works well once set up, but you have to click through a whole bunch of Amazon stuff. Does not mirror, Apple iPhone

The image quality is not amazing but it’s good enough. Compared to my living room TV which has Dolby atmospheres this TV has lower image quality, however for $200 it’s still a good deal to have in the bedroom. Sound is decent, but I have external speakers so that’s not an issue. The OS is terrible, fire tv is full of ads and not super responsive, however I have an Apple TV hooked up to it and that solves those issues. It does take a few seconds to automatically switch to HDMI input when first turned on but that’s not a dealbreaker for a $200 tv.Overall a decent 55 inch display for $200 is still great deal for low frequency use. I wouldn’t buy a second one, but I’m competent with it.
