I really didn’t know how I was going to feel about this product as I tried other tinted moisturizers in the past and wasn’t impressed but this product is actually really good and made my skin flawless, easy to apply, blends well too, my skin looks blurred and dewy BUT as a person with oily skin this product ends up looking a bit TOO dewy..I would say if you have oily skin this product is not for you..I’m really wishing I didn’t have oily skin because I know otherwise I would have LOVED this product and made it a staple in my routine!

A couple years ago I started my search for a leaping bunny certified sunscreen that felt comfortable on my face, didn’t make me look shiny by noon, didn’t break me out, and did its job with protecting my skin. I didn’t ever take sunscreen seriously until I started having moles removed from all over my body that were on their way to becoming cancerous.As someone with sensitive skin that is acne-prone, I’ve never broken out from this. I was so hesitant to try anything that said “tinted moisturizer” because make up breaks me out, and plain moisturizers have always broken me out too. This was a big leap of faith for me but since I first tried it, I’ve barely gone a day without it on my face.I am fair skinned, and this really evens out my complexion. It’s like a very veryyyyy light foundation almost, and looks really natural. Like I mentioned before, I’ve never really worn foundation but always loved the idea of a smoother and even skin tone, and this sunscreen does the job without me having to wear foundation.As far as sun protection goes, this is a 10/10. It’s a high SPF compared to other facial sunscreens I looked into in the past, which is a huge deal for me. I’ve never so much as gotten any shade of pink or red on my face from my sun since I added this to my routine, and I wear it pretty much 5-6 days a week.This checks off all my boxes, which is quite the challenge. Each time I’ve ordered this on Amazon (I’ve never ordered it from anywhere else), the product I receive is always consistent and quality. I can’t rave about this product enough! I’ve used it for over two years now and love it. It is lightweight, doesn’t have the typical sunscreen texture, offers a fair amount of coverage and the color I get is spot on. For the last 2 years I’ve been using Elta sunscreen. I love Elta it’s the golden standard. I brought this cuz it’s half the price. I honest didn’t think I would like it. But I actually love it ! It melts into my skin better than Elta. It’s light weight coverage. It need to be reapply every 2 hours as with any sunscreen. It’s functional and has a beautiful light tint. Actually lighter than the Elta. And it last. It can easily replace a light weight foundation quality.

I’ve been seeing ads for this product and thought I would give it a try. I purchased a similar product at a higher priced store in the past, and did not like how their tinted moisturizer sat on my skin. It was like it never soaked in, just stayed stuck to my face with a weird texture. I thought I would try the DRMTLGY and at worst, toss it like prior brands. I was also hesitant about the “universal” tint but ended up being surprised at how nice it looks, no caking up, and the color is just right. You can also add more if you prefer more coverage, then I finish it off with a very light layer of powder, but that is really not needed. I live in a hot climate and tend to get oily in the heat.

First things first- the sunscreen is very nice. It goes on so smooth. Blends in well and doesn’t feel like you even have sunscreen on. No real scent either. My disappointment is in the bottle I gotWithin the first few days of using the sunscreen I had sunscreen coming out the side of the lid and getting all over. I also found it didn’t pump very well. Then one morning I press the pump and the bottom explodes off. To reveal thankfully, a bottle within a bottle, so I didn’t get sunscreen all over. But I’m not sure if I had a faulty bottle since it always leaked and then finally broke.

I have oily, sensitive, acne prone skin. I can only use mineral sunscreens on my face and this works really well, and has a nice tint. I have blonde hair, blue eyes, and very light skin. This tint is actually borderline too dark for me so I actually use their untinted mineral spf as well and apply 1 layer of the untinted and 1 layer of the tinted spf and find that gets me closer to the right color, as the untinted is quite white so on its own it is too light. But they feel really nice on the skin, they are hydrating and leave a dewy finish but they don’t look or feel greasy. The don’t get cakey, easy to apply, do not offer any coverage but work well under makeup. I have been using for a few months and would recommend.

I had really high expectation before purchasing because many dermatologists on YouTube recommend this product. It is lightweight and can spread easily. However, it always burns my eyes, and feels a bit sticky long after it is applied. It says it is a moisturizer, but I find it not moisturizing enough. I would treat it as a normal tinted sunscreen. Some people said it is a dupe for the EltaMD UV clear tinted sunscreen in terms of the ingredients, but I still find the EltaMD UV clear to be a better choice even it is pricier.

I switched to a tinted moisturizer years ago and love it. After wasting lots of money on many other brands, this is where I stop. The tint is perfect and adjusts to my fair winter skin or tan summer skin. The moisturizer is the right amount, not drying or greasy. My only wish is that there was an indicator on the bottle that showed when I am getting low. The vacuum seal allows you to use every last drop, but without seeing it’s getting low, you don’t know until you get your last drop. I have purchased some of the other products, too, and have been happy with everything.

I layer this product over Cerave and the tint works well on my light skin. I have no issues with transfer to clothing or it settling in the fine lines around on my face.I also use Elta MD tinted mineral sunscreen in the summer but I find it heavier in texture and it does transfer to my shirt collars if I’m not careful about placement.

Wow, really wasn’t sure when it said universal color, but I actually love this stuff and the price is awesome! I got the recommendation from BuzzFeed, which has been a surprisingly good resource. One bottle me 4 months, which I consider generous since it also goes on my neck/decolletage. I mix it with my Tower 28 tint for my face. My only recommendation is to put this on before you get dressed. I’ve had to stain treat my clothes when it got on them. Not a big deal but it is an oil base that does not readily come off, which I actually love for my drier skin. I even got compliments from girlfriends on how healthy & dewey my complexion looked when I started using this combo!

Love this product as opposed to foundation. I’m 49, and heavy foundations make me look older. First, this is NOT a full or even medium coverage foundation, so if that’s what you prefer you will not be happy with this product. However, if you’re a makeup minimalist like me..it’s perfect!I have dry skin, and I’m old now , so foundation is a big no-no for me. (Quite frankly, I always hated it anyway) Us old ladies definitely don’t want or need anything that looks cakey, or settles into our lines and wrinkles. This stuff does NONE of that! The hydration is great, but you will have to wash your face at night before going to bed and of course again in the morning prior to applying this product. I was on the fence about buying this tinted moisturizer. It is lightweight and doesn’t take very long to dry. I think the coverage is perfect for no makeup days. I don’t have many holy grail products, but this tops my list. Every time I try another brand (because I’m a product junky, I’ll admit), I always come back. DRMTLGY is a little known brand that makes perfectly fine products priced middle-of-the-road. The tinted SPF, however, stands out as THE BEST of its kind. It is moisturizing but behaves on my oilier areas. Fabulous on its own or under makeup. It has JUST the right amount of luminosity without being glittery. It is a blended chemical-physical SPF, so it protects against all the things including blue light from computers. I can’t praise this product enough.

Love it. Great coverage and texture. I suggest that you guys apply it over damp skin, like over a serum , before the serum absorbs. That way the sunscreen spreads around really easily and evenly. Avoid getting demarcation around hair line. It happens if you don’t pay attention, because the lotion is tinted. I repurchased it already multiple times.

I did not have high hopes for a matte tinted moisturizer. Well, I was wrong! It looks fabulous! I’m not a heavy make up person, so if you like more coverage you’ll need to add something else, but I have very red cheeks and this covered it up fairly well, to where I’m feeling comfortable.I haven’t worn it for more than an hour so far, so unsure yet of longevity but I’ll update as soon as I figure it out.

I’m brown, I struggle with hyperpigmentation, I was a skeptic. Tinted moisturizers are very much hit or miss for me: it’s usually the wrong shade OR they have a greasy film OR not enough SPF OR they irritate my skin.No. Not here. Drmtlgy got it 1000% correct. I’ve had ZERO irritation or inflammation. It wears so well under everything and is not sticky/tacky/greasy. It melts into the skin and just stays put. I don’t know of a better way to explain it.

This is a very light wearing tinted moisturizer works as a buffer for your skin and as a sunblock prior to me using this, I would get sunburn on my face frequently because of my outdoor hobbies -there have been several times this summer Where my body burned except for my face because I had this on. This is not to be confused with a full coverage foundation, but if you’re looking for something to give you a subtle boost while providing SPF coverage you will not be disappointed by this. my other go to is supergoop as far as SPF coverage, they are the same for me however, super goop gives you more of a highlight/bronze look, but is four times the price

If I’m trying to go full face or have a lazy day this stuff protects my skin and layers nicely. Love the UV coverage because of all the lighting in my work environment! I love the original product, but it left my skin too shiny. I used it anyway, as I loved all the skincare benefits, sunscreen and tint all in one package. I was happy to learn there was a new, matte version. It goes on smoothly just like the original, dries into a nice matte, not shiny finish. It is not drying and itchy and because of the sheer tint, doesn’t act like a foundation. A little bronzer and voila! No need for foundation during the summer months. My only complaint is the texture – there are tiny granules that feels like sand when first applying and I am afraid of scratching my skin. No problems after it is on the skin – I wonder if this is the zinc or the oil absorbing ingredients. I exchanged my first bottle thinking it may have been a bad batch, but the second bottle is the same. Since I love the product too much, I will keep using it, but would like the manufacturer to know there is a texture issue with the matte version compared to the original.

This is the first tinted moisturizer I’ve ever used, and it has been working really good for me, I love the way it makes my skin look after it’s dried, and I have received a bunch of comments on how my skin looks good when I’m wearing it because it gives a GREAT glow. However when you first use the product it feels like it’s never gonna rub in, or maybe not putting enough on, and for me it showed my peach fuzz bad when first applying that gave me anxiety that it wasn’t gonna look good, BUT after using this for almost a year now I am confident in saying don’t give up on it, let it dry, and A LITTLE goes a LONG way! You can for sure make some spots darker or not enough when first applying because you feel like some spots won’t look as covered and then when it’s dry you will absolutely see the places you added to haha so just apply EVENLY and let it dry and watch the magic happen.

Omg! I have ichthyosis aka Fish Svaly type skin. Even when I take the slightest bit of foundation and mix it with tons of moisturizer it sticks on my flaky skin.This stuff is amazing! After I put it on I was able to take my doctor recommended moisturixing foundation and put it on top of this! I can’t wear that moisturizing foundation otherwise. I was skeptical but this product is the best!

This moisturizer protects well; almost weightless and has a subtle tint. That being said, the odor is really annoying. It works well, so I’m trying to get past the scent. Love that it is manufactured in the States.

This felt great on my skin. I fell in love with the smooth way it went on my skin and made my skin feel. No makeup just a tinted moisturizer. Used 3 days and then I developed a rash on my forehead and bumps. Stopped using it and I washed my face 4 times a day. Took 2 weeks to clear rash on face and bumps on forehead. It felt great but I think it gave me a rash and bumps even though I washed it off my face every day. Just be careful if you have sensitive skin. I will not buy agsin.

Felt really good on my skin and looks good overall. For some reason it made my face look a little gray. Bought some for my mother also and it looks great on her. I have very olive skin so maybe that contributed to what it looked like for me. I would definitely try it

I really do love this tinted moisturizer SPF. It’s nice and lightweight and has a nice feel and look on my skin. I live in Florida, so my skin tone is probably closer to medium than fair. I feel that this matches a fair skin tone versus medium or dark. It still blends pretty well, but it would be nice if they had different shades, or at least one to match slightly darker skin tones. Otherwise really love it.

I find this product a little greasy to apply so my face looks too oily shiny which bothers me so I have to apply powder on top of it. I hope they will improve the formulation so it will be more matte sunscreen tinted foundation otherwise I will just slather a sunscreen beach looking face. I am looking for an everyday natural glow looking sunscreen tinted foundation not too oily.

This product gives a nice glow & there’s no white cast, it blends nicely on my mature skin. It’s great for use alone when staying home or doing yard work. It is a little sticky but that might be due to my other skin care products. I’ve had no breakouts and that is a real plus. I have very sensitive skin & that has been an issue with other spf products.

Okay, so sunscreen in general has a scent but this one smells really weird. Worse than regular sunscreen. It didn’t put me off on trying it though. After applying it I did notice a slight color enhancement to my skin, but not much. It’s subtle. Almost like a light bronzer. The smell however stuck all day. It does absorb after a few moments but if you wipe anything off your face the tint goes with it. Not sure how much of an effect this has on skin because I’ve only used it once but I think I prefer my other sunscreen to this one, only because of the smell of it.

I love this tinted sunscreen! I wish I had tried it sooner. While I usually prefer mineral sunscreens, I occasionally make an exception and this is one of them. I know a lot of other people love this but I was skeptical about the color match. Brown girls don’t always get this lucky. Turns out, it blends in beautifully into my skin. This does not have any cast on me at all. The coverage is very sheer and barely there, very natural; so it’s not covering up any imperfections. The texture is like a lightweight moisturizer, not runny, and it spreads very easily. Reapplication is a breeze. This is not a sweat resistant formula so it’s not for beach days. However, it’s a great option for daily wear. I have oily skin and this has a natural finish. It’s such an elegant formula. No irritation, no breakouts, and it doesn’t burn my eyes. It feels moisturizing but not heavy. The bottle arrived with a tamper proof seal. And the pump works great, no issues. I think the price is fine for such a nice formula and packaging. But if you can get it on sale, don’t hesitate!I also love these tinted sunscreens: Neutrogena Mineral UV Tint in Medium Deep, Elta MD UV Daily Tinted, Colorscience Flex in Tan (has more coverage to even out skin tone).Some of my foundation colors in case it helps you determine if this tint works for you: Armani 7.8, ELDW Honey Bronze, KVD 063, MUFE 3N42, Haus Labs 330, Dior 4N, Nars Aruba.

I was influenced purchase through through a social media ad. I like this product for a daily spf moisturizer. It does not provide a lot of coverage or even out skin tone as social media said it would. However, it is a great alternative to a foundation base if you don’t need much cover up. I have been using it for several weeks now and am happy with the light feeling.

I purchased this because I wanted to try Derm for a while now. I have used Lays tinted moisturizer with sunscreen and I prefer the shade that gives me. This is a fairly light tinted moisturizer. I am also not pleased with its lack of moisturizer on my skin. I feel I need to use a moisturizer underneath.

As far as moisturizing, tinted sunscreens go this one does the job. It blends well, leaves a dewy finish (not my favorite thing), and goes well with makeup once you have let the sunscreen set for about 30 min. The only downfall of this product is that it has this slight metallic smell to it when you first put it on. It dissipates quickly but there is still that initial scent. Let me put it this way, the smell has not kept me from keeping this moisturizing sunscreen in my “favorite” rotation with a few other tinted products.

I know this product is geared towards those who want just one product that does multiple things, those who don’t mind sheer coverage, and giving a way to take a break from foundation but still look presentable. I wanted to use this product for that purpose too, but it made me look too greasy when used by itself (yes I know this is the glowy version – they don’t sell the matte version in Amazon). I did not want to waste this product so I tried applying powder foundation on top of it. Unexpectedly, this product turned out great in combination to powder foundations. After a full 10 hours at work, I didn’t need to blot or touch up once. When wearing liquid foundation or powder foundations, I normally can’t avoid looking shiny and having to touch up. But with this, I may have found the perfect solution (after years of trying products). Technically, I’m not taking a break from foundation in this way, but it’s just one more product additional, and I have to clean up my face anyway even with just the tinted moisturizer.I took off one star because even glowy products should have a limit. This made my face look wet and greasy even after it dries. That was honestly my main issue with wearing it by itself. Would have also been great if it gave a teensy bit more coverage when worn by itself.

I really didn’t know how I was going to feel about this product as I tried other tinted moisturizers in the past and wasn’t impressed but this product is actually really good and made my skin flawless, easy to apply, blends well too, my skin looks blurred and dewy BUT as a person with oily skin this product ends up looking a bit TOO dewy..I would say if you have oily skin this product is not for you..I’m really wishing I didn’t have oily skin because I know otherwise I would have LOVED this product and made it a staple in my routine!
