When my original tv went dark, I was quite dismayed at the thought of another expensive item to replace. I was thrilled about seeing how little these costs! They work great and are quite lightweight which makes moving them so much easier than most big screen tvs.

I bought this for a guest room that is seldom used. It is a decent TV with the necessary streaming apps for the price. I took off a star because setting it up took forever. You have to get past all the Amazon promos before you can get to what you actually need. The legs were a bit tricky to screw on and a bit flimsy, but not a deal breaker. Otherwise, it was easy to use.

The size of this 40 inch TV is perfect for my bedroom. When I get a visit from My Brother-n-law, he only wants to watch baseball. I like football and basketball. So I’ll go in my room and watch what I was watching and My Brother-n-law has the living room to himself with my 65 inch LG TV.

If you’re not a moderately computer savvy person, set-up may be an issue for you. Having a helper would be great as well. I’m alone & some things were quite tricky. Wi-Fi must be on & fast before turning TV on. If not fast, updates may take a long time. Because I just set up a new non-Smart TV 2-years ago many set-up steps were familiar for me. YOU CANNOT JUST PLUG A SMART TV IN & EXPECT TO WATCH TV!!! CURRENT SMART TV’S DON’T WORK LIKE THAT.Also once set-up, don’t go downloading every free TV app. Most are JUNK stations with ads. You’ll wind up never using most apps you download. HULU, DISNEY, MAX (HBO) are good starters. I t will take some time to figure out which apps you absolutely need. No app bundles all stations you are used to watching on ALL PAY cable TV (my company I was with for 16-years raised my monthly fees 3-times in 1-year going from $218 a month to $310 for the TRIPLE PLAY) they promised my bill would go down $220 without cable- it only went down $100 after haggling- keep this in mind. This is something you just have to work out yourself by trial & error.I absolutely needed a stand so that I could put this TV on top of my cable box- my living space is small. The main issue is that NOT ONE stand out of hundreds on Amazon says whether or not their stand is compatible with an Amazon FIRE TV (mine’s 32″). The one that was recommended by another member IS NOT COMPATIBLE even though it says “UNIVERSAL”. I wouldn’t buy a stand unless the seller is ABSOLUTELY SURE it will properly fit an AMAZON FIRE TV! It took me over 4-hours (over 2-days) to get it to where it’s a semi-unstable stand because this stand WAS NOT MADE FOR AN AMAZON FIRE TV. So be very cautious when buying a stand if needed.

First, I love this TV. Overall it’s a great value for the price. Setup was easy and the picture is clear. One downside is there’s a bit of a lag when you press a button on the remote, but to me at least, that’s not a huge deal.The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because I had a certain streaming app installed that I kept needing to uninstall then reinstall to get it to work. At first it was fine, but after a week, I would go to the app and then just get a blank screen. What a pain in the neck to keep uninstalling and reinstalling and signing in! I tried uninstalling other apps in case it was an issue with space. No difference. I’m not naming the app because that might be against review guidelines here. But it was under 70MB and other apps that work perfectly are a lot bigger.Even with that issue, I’m happy with the purchase.

I purchased the 40″ and love it! It is very lightweight. When it arrived I actually thought it wasn’t in the box because it was so lightweight. So far I love everything about this TV except for the remote.This is the first TV we have received from Amazon that has included a DirecTV button on it and a Peacock button. The previous two we have received at least had the Hulu button. Hulu is a service we actually use. It would be nice when ordering your TV from Amazon if they would ask you what quick access buttons you would like for your remote. The only one that should come on it as standard should be the prime video. I think the next option should also be a streaming service that doesn’t require a monthly service for like YouTube or even Tik Tok.I would give 5 stars if the remote had better options.

Honestly I bought it out in impulse and it’s honestly a very good purchase. I don’t watch a lot of tv, but this tv has me do it a little bit more. It can get kind of laggy, but I think it’s a bearable lag. It’s just sometimes, it’s not like it’s constantly laggy. It’s pretty good, sound is good, image is okay. It’s not a 4k resolution, but it’s fine, specially for the price. If i needed to, I would purchase it again. I think it’s a pretty nice deal.

I bought this TV 32″, which was a great deal on the most recent Prime Day. Main purpose was to be able to take it outside in nice weather to watch baseball games in the evening. The point is, its wireless. That enables you to put the TV anywhere without cable. Its also a GREAT VALUE for a low price. Yes you do not get the best sound, but again… for the price… it works fine. I read reviews and can sum up most of the negative reviews with a logical reason. Most negative comment is that its slow and sometimes freezes. I have a fire cube and a few fire sticks. These devices make any TV a smart TV and wireless. If you are using cable and are all wired throughout your house, then you do not need AMAZON FIRE TV. You can spend the same amount and maybe get more on a low end non-smart TV. Those that are complaining have one main issue which I do not see mentioned in the negative reviews. SLOW internet. Of course things will be slow. In that case, you should NOT be trying to use wireless for a TV. Then there were many questions about “timeout” issues. Its called a screen saver and the complaints about can’t find the setting really is unbelievable. Settings is a big gear on the home screen like everywhere else and….its on the remote control. If you use Amazon and have other TVs set up, during the set-up for this device, they give you the option of cloning any other set you have. Yes its done in the background and can take till the next day to complete, however, it will download all your apps and you are good to go. Amazon does a good job making things easy to set up. Final point. Under settings, try the help section.

Its a little slow to respond and lags a bit between the remote and selections but for less than 200$ I really cant complain. I would not use this as my primary but It serves its limited purpose in the spare room.

After struggling for over an hour to set up after I hung it on the wall, we had to go buy NEW batteries for the remote. Then it worked. My daughter loves it, but boy was it a pain to set up.

I am happy with the price and glad that it is WI-FI capable. So it is easy to get the internet and smart apps. Rather than adding a sound bar I purchased a optical cable $7.00 and hooked up a stereo receiver for true theater sound. The TV is super light weight and easy to hang on the wall with swivel mount bracket. Now I sit in the hot tub and watch movies. Soothing!
