I didn’t have the space to let it fully expand for 24 hours like they recommend, so I just put it on right away. Even without the full ‘fluff time,’ it was surprisingly comfy from the first night.The topper gives just the right amount of cushioning and support without feeling too soft or saggy, which has really helped improve our sleep.     I bought this 2 years ago. It was good until about a month ago when I started to wake up with sore shoulders and hips. My wife also had that. I checked the topper and it no longer provides any real support. When you lie on it , it just sank without any push back (support). So the hard mattress under it is what we were feeling. I contacted their warranty team which asked for a bunch of pictures but never heard back again. I have read it is difficult to get them to honor their 5 year warranty unless there is something real obvious like a big indentation in the foam with nothing on it. Unfortunately that is true of most mattress manufacturers. For the premium price of this I expected longer life from itIn spite of that I did order another one and once again I can sleep much better. Hopefully it will last at least 2 years if not longer

    I have never been a good sleeper, every noise wakes me up. Now that I am in menopause it is worse. The mattress I have had for years is extremely firm and I purchased it because my husband has back pain but the hard mattress caused me terrible hip and back pain. However, this topper is heaven. Believe the reviews. I no longer have any pain when I sleep. I also sleep many more hours. I am literally excited to go to bed at night. The only funny thing about it is when you go to rollover or move to a different spot, it is like climbing uphill since it literally forms to your body. Then it will form to your body again once you move. Also, mine barely had an odor and it dissipated within days.

I arrived on time, well packaged, was easy to unpackage and expanded completely in about 4 hours (not the 24-48 suggested) with very little odor. I slept on it that same night and by running a fan , dissipated the odor so it was no bother as I slept, and I haven’t smelled it since.

    Selected this topper after reading reviews on it outside of Amazon. My 9 yo son has a very firm mattress and traditional foam toppers were too hot for him. He has a platform bed with no box springs. Since using this 3” topper he has not complained once about being too hot. I am also quite sure he now has the most comfortable bed in the house. I’ve just purchased another for my bed to replace our traditional foam topper. It did not take long to air out the smell. It is heavy to move around but once on the bed, that really doesn’t matter.     Our futon mattress has been rarely used so it is in very good shape. But it’s also pretty hard and uncomfortable. We are trying to switch from the crib to a toddler bed, but have decided to use the futon as the toddler bed. Our son does not want to sleep by himself yet in his toddler bed so one of us has been sleeping with him. well we needed something more comfortable so instead of looking for a new mattress I decided to do this instead and it is a lot more comfortable than it used to be. I am 98 pounds so I find it pretty comfortable, my husband is almost 200 pounds so it’s not as comfortable for him but I think it’s still an improvement. I would put this as more of a medium soft versus a medium firm and we got the 3 inch full size mattress.

    I purchased a very firm 12 inch mattress 4 years ago and purchased 3 mattress toppers trying to find the right one. Settled on a 3 inch.     My initial impression was that it was not as firm as I would have wanted it to be compared to my old mattresses as I felt like I sunk into the mattress but rather it was more of a body hugging feeling. With that being said, I did get used to it and found that my lower back pain had decreased over time. Finding the correct mattress for your body really is a life changer and getting a mattress topper is a great cost saving alternative to buying a completely new mattress. Very happy with my purchase.

    Easy to strap to mattress. Zipper system is nice. The mattress cover/topper in general is sooooo incredibly soft. I slept like a baby on it! I’ve also already washed it once. Easy! I have dogs— and with dogs comes dirt and whatever else on the bed so I’ll likely be washing it fairly frequently.** on a side note. If the topper is a little too soft for your liking, I’d suggest adding a mattress protector. I did that and it made the topper a little more firm.

    After reading the NY Times Wirecutter review of this mattress topper, I purchased it and was not disappointed. From the quick delivery, to the box, great packaging presentation and literature that came with the mattress topper I was impressed. Right out of the box the topper seemed thicker than 3 inches. I laid it on top of my bed to air out and was happy to note almost no smell whatsoever. My spouse has very bad allergies and is super sensitive to smell and we were able to sleep on it that same night. It contours to our bodies perfectly, and is not too soft or too hard. It fits on the mattress perfectly unlike some other mattress toppers that are too narrow or wide or too long or too short. The cover is beautiful, and the adjustable straps are a great feature. I appreciate the long return window, though I have no plans on returning it. I registered it on the app and got an additional two year extension on the warranty. You can’t beat that. We are very happy with this purchase.

    Bought this mattress topper to try to improve an expensive, yet old, inner spring mattress that was slightly too firm when I bought it. After almost 2 weeks of use, I can say it definitely improves both the support and cushioning during sleep. The increased cushioning being the most noticeable. The king size is true to size, so no issues with it fitting the bed at all. The straps don’t work well with my bed as the corners of my mattress are rounded, but I managed to get them to stay long enough to get a mattress pad over it to hold the straps in place. The biggest issue with the 3 inch topper is it will add considerable height to your bed. You may need a step, or climb on the bed frame to get into the bed. I love the new topper, and it has greatly improved my sleep. My wife is undecided.

    We originally ordered the 4” topper and slept on it for 4 nights. While it is definitely comfortable, even very deep sheets just don’t stay on the corners. We gave it to friends with a lower mattress and they are thrilled!We would definitely recommend this product – just be sure you measure the height of the mattress you will be using it on so you don’t order one that is too thick.

There was 0 smell to the at unboxing but I did let it “air out” for about 5 hours. However you will need help putting it in place if you can’t lift 50ish pounds.     Been trying to find a good mattress topper for awhile. I’m a side sleeper and my sides usually hurt after laying on them for awhile. Will toss and turn a lot until I fall asleep. Tried the egg crate foam toppers but those don’t do anything. Tried a nicer puffy topper but didn’t provide much cushioning after awhile. This provides actually support I can feel and liking it so far. Will report back in a few months, hopefully the foam holds up after some use.

    As a guest I slept on this topper for 5 weeks and when returned home, ordered the 4″ topper for our CA King Sleep Number bed, which I thought reasonably comfortable before our trip. I added our poofy mattress pad on top of the ViscoSoft to help disperse any ‘warmth’ from the memory foam as some people reported. Our regular deep pocket sheets accomodated the extra size and the straps easily slid on/stayed on the Sleep Number mattress without any problem. Being a Senior with shoulder and back aches and pains I thought this topper helpful (unfortunately not a miracle cure). I continue to use a lumbar and knee pillow and find the cushy memory foam topper an added plus. I will repurchase when the memory foam wears out – worth the price to replace.

    This is the best mattress pad I’ve ever bought. I was looking for something to help me with a too firm Sterns and Foster new mattress. I have arthritis and the pressure points were killing me. This works wonderfully! I slept all night the first night and every night since. I highly recommend this pad.

    After a great deal of research I chose to purchase the 2” thick vicosoft mattress topper. My very firm mattress is still in good shape, but it was causing different areas of pain – shoulders and hips. The two inch topper retains most of what I like about a firm mattress while providing just enough cushioning to alleviate the hip and shoulder pains. I love the product’s fit and performance. The washable cover is a nice bonus.

Didn’t come with any kind of instructions, descriptions, paperwork, or identifying company (I had looked at so many mattress toppers before choosing this one, I couldn’t remember whether I could use it right out of the box or if it had to sit first, for example.)Comments: It’s a mattress topper, and even though I’m no heavy weight, at 105 lbs I could still feel the very hard bed below–which was fine because the topper provided enough cushion that it wasn’t an irritant. Just lower your expectations and you’ll like this mattress topper. It’s a mattress topper, not a cloud.

    I bought this mattress topper for my RV Queen sized mattress. I was using a regular sized Queen topper, which was too long for the RV mattress. It hung over the end of the mattress causing the comforter to slip downward during the night. This topper is true to size, and fit the short Queen RV mattress to a T, corner to corner. I also like that it has straps that tuck under the corners, especially since my RV mattress is an older style, and tends to slide at times on its frame while sleeping in it. This topper may prevent slipping since it adds more weight to the mattress overall, which may prevent it from slipping from the frame. This topper was a tad bit more expensive, but I believe it is a higher quality item than the others.
