So the other dog food I’ve been feeding her was Beneful, and when this purina pro plan stuff came in, I had originally opted to mix the two together, because it was recommended to me to do that when switching dog food to avoid her getting sick.I kept doing this until the third time I tried this, when I decided to not mix the foods, but pour the pro plan on the bottom and the beneful on top. I came back to a half-filled dog bowl of beneful. Not a single Pro plan kibble in sight.Maybe it’s because it’s a new taste for her that she likes it more, but for now, she loves this stuff. And she didn’t get sick when I decided to just give her the Pro plan outright, so I think this is a good one for her.My dog is a border collie mixed with australian shepherd.

We used to feed this to our dog many years ago and once he started eating it, it stopped his constant itching – it was amazing. However, over time, we ended up switching to another food, I believe this was out of stock when we needed it at that time, sooo we’ve switched back over. Our dog loves it and he can be picky at times. Highly recommend this dog food.

After scooping the dog food out of the bag,, I noticed that the solid chunks were mixed with pulverized food. If the crumbs were not an issue, I give this a 5*. For,, my dog loves it and has no digestion issues. Price for a 31 pound bag is super affordable.

Just love this, good balance, dogs are fit-not-fat, nice coats. Could use fish oil in it to help coats shine, but been using this food for 30 years and many dogs have lived half-again as long as their breed ‘standard’. Cons-a bit expensive, poop will not easily biodegrade. Pros-reliable, consistent, not too smelly, dogs love it.

I have an almost 10 year old Australian Shepard. She has thrived on this kibble for the last several years. I was starting to worry about price issues as its went from slightly less than thirty a bag to over sixty locally. I was able to find it here on Amazon for a better price AND the kibble is a fresher mill date. Very important that the ingredients are as fresh as possible so vital minerals aren’t lost with aging for older dogs.

I have a 4 year old pit that I rescued about 4 months ago and she is VERY picky. I’ve been having to add chicken or sardines to her other food just so she would eat! She really likes this!!!. I haven’t been adding anything and she eats all her food daily. This is also cheaper than the other food I was buying so it’s a win,win !

Only took three days to get this bag of dog food in something I didn’t have to go to the store and put in my cart, lug up the steps into the house. This is the only dog food my fur babies will eat. When breeding my Labradors, I used Purina Pro Plan, but now without that, I dropped down to Purina One for the cost factor. I have used Purina products (dry) for years — never any problems. Very consistent – never had a dog that didn’t like it either.
